Distribution of 5,000 Food Baskets Launched for Needy Families in Hajjah

Hajjah: The Yemen Development Foundation, in coordination with the local authority and the General Mobilization in Hajjah Governorate, launched the distribution of 5,000 food baskets to poor and needy families in the governorate center and districts.

According to Yemen News Agency, at the launch event in the governorate center, Deputy Governor Adel Shali acknowledged the Development Foundation's role in implementing social welfare programs aimed at alleviating the suffering of the poor and promoting solidarity. Shali emphasized that these initiatives represent a true embodiment of social solidarity and care for those in need, aligning with the leadership's directives.

Furthermore, a member of the Yemeni Scholars' League, Allama Abdulmajid Sharaf al-Din, urged traders and philanthropists to support poor families and enhance community cohesion and solidarity.
