Distribution of Six Thousand Daily Iftar Meals to Poor Families in Al-Thawrah District, Sanaa

Sanaa: Work was launched today in Al-Thawrah District in the Capital Sanaa on Ramadan charitable kitchens, through community initiatives and support from the General Mobilization and the Al-Thawrah Multi-Purpose Cooperative Association. During the inauguration, the Mobilization Official in Al-Thawrah District, Saddam Al-Hababi, affirmed that the charitable initiatives come in implementation of the directives of the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, to show kindness to the poor and needy, and to revive the values of solidarity, compassion, and cooperation among community members, especially during the holy month.

According to Yemen News Agency, the Secretary of Al-Thawrah Association, Waleed Al-Akwa'a, pointed out that 16 charitable kitchens have been launched in various neighborhoods of Al-Thawrah District as part of the Iftar for the Fasting Project. He explained that the charitable kitchens target six thousand of the poorest families in the district's neighborhoods daily, distributing iftar meals during the days of the holy month.

The initiative aims to encourage associations and affluent individuals to support and adopt charitable projects and Ramadan kitchens that focus on giving and assisting needy and poor families, attending to their needs during Ramadan.
