Districts of Capital Launch Summer Courses Under ‘Knowledge and Jihad’ Slogan

Sana'a: Summer courses were officially launched across districts of the Capital Sana'a under the slogan 'Knowledge and Jihad,' with officials reviewing programs and student participation in multiple centers. The subcommittee for activities and summer courses in the Capital inaugurated the programs across various districts.

According to Yemen News Agency, several officials, including Hammoud al-Naqeeb and Sharaf al-Hadi, along with Deputy Governor Qanef al-Marani, inspected the activities and level of turnout in centers located in Shu'ub District and al-Thawrah district. Additional field visits were carried out in Maeen District, where officials reviewed registration and activities at al-Furqan School in the Shamlan area. In Bani al-Harith District, officials also inspected programs at Imam al-Hadi and Martyr Taha Hamid al-Din schools.

Similar visits took place in Old Sana'a District, Al-Sabeen District, Al-Tahrir District, and Azal District, where officials were briefed on the process of the summer courses and student enrollment for the year 1447 AH. Participants in the visits included local leaders, officials, community figures, and social representatives, who emphasized the importance of these summer programs in educating and guiding youth, strengthening their values, and protecting them from harmful ideas.

They highlighted the role of summer courses in developing students' academic, cultural, and creative skills, while encouraging families and community leaders to support student enrollment. Officials also praised the level of organization and the strong turnout, noting that such programs are essential for building an aware and educated generation.
