Aden: Member of the Supreme Political Council, Dr. Abdulaziz Saleh bin Habtoor, sent a cable of condolences and sympathy on the passing of Dr. Abdullah Ahmed Banafa, a professor of Arabic language at the Universities of Aden and Shabwa. In the message sent to the family of the deceased, his brothers, and the cultural community in Aden and Shabwa, Dr. bin Habtoor praised the virtues of the late scholar and his significant contributions to the educational and academic process at both universities.
According to Yemen News Agency, Dr. bin Habtoor highlighted the late professor's role in educating successive generations of students at the Faculties of Education in the two universities. He noted that Dr. Banafa was among the finest professors in terms of human conduct and his respectful treatment of his students and academic colleagues. He affirmed that the higher education sector has lost, with Banafa's passing, a distinguished academic who made an impactful contribution to human development, as well as a noble individual devoted to his homeland.
Dr. bin Habtoor expressed his sincere condolences and sympathy to the deceased's family, his brothers, students, and colleagues over this loss. He prayed to Almighty God to grant him vast mercy and forgiveness, admit him into His spacious paradise, and grant patience and solace to his family, relatives, students, and colleagues.
