Hadramout: Member of the Supreme Political Council Dr. Abdulaziz Bin Habtour on Thursday inaugurated Yemen Electric Motors - Forcing, a company dedicated to electric vehicles. The opening ceremony was a significant event for Yemen's private sector and investment landscape, attended by several dignitaries, including the Governor of Hadramout, Luqman Baras.
According to Yemen News Agency, the establishment of Yemen Electric Motors marks a key addition to the country's efforts to boost its private sector. Dr. Bin Habtour highlighted the importance of adopting electric cars as a means to reduce environmental pollution and decrease reliance on fossil fuels.
He also expressed hopes for the future growth of electric vehicle infrastructure, including the expansion of charging stations across Yemen. The event featured a detailed presentation showcasing the company's car models and their specifications, underlining the potential for innovation and development within Yemen's automotive industry.
