Sennar: Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) and supervisor of the central states, Dr. Salma Abdul-Jabbar Al-Mubarak, concluded her inspection tour of Sennar State by visiting several key service and production facilities, joined by the Wali (governor) of Sennar State, the security committee, and members of the state government.
According to Sudan News Agency, the tour included a visit to the Al-Dali and Al-Mazmum water station in Sennar, as well as the western production road that links Sennar, Al-Dali, and Al-Mazmum, which had been non-functional for extended periods. Dr. Salma also visited the Olympic Stadium in Sennar, highlighting the significance of these projects to the state.
In line with recovery and reconstruction initiatives, Dr. Salma Abdel-Jabbar launched the "Reconstructing a Homeland" campaign, spearheaded by the Sennar Youth Federation, at Musab bin Omair School in Sennar.
Dr. Salma concluded her field tour with a visit to the orchard of the Ar-Rammash Agricultural Project, one of Sennar's irrigated projects. She received a detailed briefing from the project administration on the needs for rehabilitating mechanical and civil irrigation infrastructure and called for state intervention to revitalize such projects, which play a role in ensuring stability and food security for the local community.
