General

Sana’a: The National Center of Meteorology announced that several regions in the country will be affected by a light to medium-density dust wave originating from the center of the Arabian Peninsula, leading to a decrease in horizontal visibility during the next 24 hours.

According to Yemen News Agency, the affected areas include the desert areas of Al-Mahra, Hadhramaut, Shabwa, Al-Jawf, and Marib. There is also a possibility that the dust wave’s effects could extend to the southern and western coasts as well as the mountainous heights.

The center has issued warnings to citizens, particularly highlighting the need for the sick and the elderly to avoid direct exposure to the dust. Drivers are also advised to exercise caution due to the reduced visibility conditions expected during this period.
