Sana'a: Economy Acting Minister, Sam Al-Bashiri, visited several summer schools in the Shu'ub District within the Capital Secretariat to observe their activities and engage with organizers.
According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Bashiri was joined by Hamoud Al-Naqeeb, Head of the Social Affairs Committee in the Capital Secretariat Local Council, Eng. Sami Maqbuli, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Economy for the Industry and Economic Cities Sector, and Mohammed Al-Hadhrami, Acting Director of Shu'ub District. The delegation reviewed programs focused on Qur'an memorization and lessons rooted in divine guidance and Qur'anic culture.
The Acting Minister expressed his satisfaction with the robust participation and engagement in the summer programs, citing this as evidence of societal awareness regarding their significance in instilling religious values and preparing a knowledgeable generation poised for nation-building and development.
Al-Bashiri also emphasized the importance of these courses in preserving values, strengthening youth against cultural and intellectual challenges, and maintaining a faith-based identity. Furthermore, he initiated a tree-planting campaign for students as part of the summer program activities.
He applauded the inclusion of agricultural activities, which nurture a sense of initiative and community service among students, enhancing their overall educational experience.
