Economy Acting Minister Inspects Industrial Facilities Under Construction

Sana’a: Acting Minister of Economy, Industry, and Investment, Sam Al-Basheeri, inspected the progress of several industrial facilities currently under construction. The Acting Minister praised national investors’ initiative in establishing industrial projects that enhance local production and support efforts to localize industries.



According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Basheeri noted that industrial and production projects receive privileges, incentives, and facilities under the new Investment Law. He affirmed that the ministry is committed to providing full support and care for such projects. The ministry is also focused on protecting local products from unfair competition or dumping by subsidized foreign goods while ensuring a competitive environment that boosts industrial activity as a vital pillar of the national economy.



Al-Basheeri highlighted the promising investment opportunities available to national capital in the industrial sector and other fields. He emphasized that the ministry will collaborate with the industrial sector to enhance local manufacturing capacities, enabling them to compete in both local and global markets in terms of quality and production costs.
