Sana'a: Acting Minister of Economy, Industry, and Investment Sam Al-Bashiri visited several factories in the capital secretariat and Sana'a Governorate on Thursday. During his tour, Al-Bashiri focused on evaluating production operations and engaged with factory owners and management to understand the challenges they are facing, as well as discussing proposed solutions and plans for modernization and expansion.
According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Bashiri stated that the objective of his visits is to assess factory conditions, address existing obstacles, and support the expansion of production lines to meet local market demand effectively. He emphasized the importance of reducing reliance on imports by boosting local production capabilities.
Al-Bashiri reiterated the commitment of both the government and the Ministry to facilitate the growth of the industrial sector. This includes supporting production, protecting local products, and implementing policies designed to promote domestic industries. The visits were seen as a proactive step in addressing industrial challenges and aligning with national economic goals.
