Al-hodeidah: Dr. Ibrahim Luqman, Deputy Minister of Education and Higher Education Sector, inspected on Monday the progress of the General Secondary School Certificate examinations at several testing centers in Al-Mina and Zabid districts of Al-Hodeidah Governorate.
According to Yemen News Agency, Luqman was accompanied by the governorate's education sector official - Chairman of the Subcommittee for Examinations Omar Bahr - and the head of the ministerial supervisory team Ali Al-Khalid. They reviewed the level of discipline at the Al-Taa'awon centers in Al-Mina district and at the College of Education and Al-Shumairy in Zabid district. The team listened to the staff at these centers, who provided clarifications on the efforts made to ensure suitable conditions for students.
Dr. Luqman praised the orderly conduct of the exams and consulted with several students regarding the Chemistry exam questions, emphasizing the importance of providing an environment that enables students to take their exams smoothly. He encouraged students to exert their best efforts to achieve successful results, wishing them success in their educational journey.
The Deputy Minister also urged high school students to join summer courses after completing their exams to make productive use of their free time. He noted that these courses would offer opportunities to explore specializations and academic pathways at the university level.
He was accompanied by Al-Mina District Director Abdullah Al-Hadi; Deputy Education Sector Officials Mahmoud Al-Washli and Dr. Sadiq Al-Hatimi; Education Office Advisor Omar Al-Salmooni; Dean of the Higher Institute for Teachers Ahmed Miskeen; and the Directors of Education in Al-Mina, Ibrahim Ayyed, and in Zabid, Majid Atiyah.
