Sana'a: Deputy Minister of Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Hatem Al-Daees, inspected the progress of high school examinations in Ibb Governorate. During the visit, which included Al-Sammad Secondary School, 26 September Center, Noor Al-Amal Center for Students with Special Needs, Al-Bayhani, Al-Farouq, Somaya, and Sana'a schools in Al-Dhahar District, and Khalid bin Al-Walid School in Al-Mashannah District, the Deputy Minister, accompanied by the Governorate's Mobilization Officer Abdul-Fattah Ghallab and Education Sector Officer Mohamed Al-Ghazali, reviewed the examination procedures, adherence to regulatory guidelines, and the readiness of organizational and administrative aspects in the various centers.
According to Yemen News Agency, Dr. Al-Daees emphasized that the success of the examination process requires coordinated efforts between the Ministry of Education and the local authorities, stressing the importance of providing a suitable environment for students to enhance their focus. He highlighted the Ministry's commitment to enforcing the regulations, ensuring equal opportunities for all students, maintaining the integrity and transparency of the examination process across all centers.
The Deputy Minister also praised the level of discipline and organization in the examination centers, directing that any field observations be addressed promptly to improve performance and ensure the exams run smoothly. For his part, the Governorate's Education Sector Officer noted that all necessary conditions were prepared to ensure the success of the examinations through continuous coordination with relevant authorities and intensified field supervision.
Al-Ghazali affirmed the focus on maintaining discipline within the examination centers and addressing any issues immediately to guarantee the stability of the examination process and the achievement of its educational objectives. Accompanying them during the visit were the Deputy Education Sector Officers Abdullah Al-Shami and Amin Al-Tayyar, Head of Guidance and Curricula Department Abdulrahman Al-Habari, and a number of specialists and supervisory members of the ministerial team.
In a related context, the Deputy Minister of Education and Scientific Research, along with the Governorate's Mobilization and Education Sector Officers, also visited a number of schools and summer programs in Ibb Governorate. The visit included Imam Ali bin Abi Talib School in Al-Mashannah District, Al-Sammad, Al-Farouq, Somaya, and Sana'a schools in Al-Dhahar District, where Dr. Al-Daees reviewed the implementation of summer programs and activities, assessing adherence to the approved plan.
He emphasized that summer centers play an important role in developing students' skills, refining their abilities, and reinforcing educational and national values, stressing the need to intensify efforts to enhance the quality of activities and programs offered to students. The Deputy Minister also noted the importance of integrating the roles of educational authorities and local governance to provide a stimulating learning environment during summer activities, highlighting the need to develop programs to maximize benefits for students.
Al-Ghazali affirmed that the Governorate's education sector pays great attention to summer centers through continuous supervision and performance evaluation, ensuring that programs are implemented according to the set objectives. He added that efforts are focused on improving the educational and developmental outcomes of summer centers and enhancing their role in making productive use of students' time for their benefit.
