Education Ministry Celebrates 12th Anniversary of September 21 Revolution with Focus on Freedom and Independence

Sanaa: On Saturday, the Education Ministry commemorated the 12th anniversary of the September 21 Revolution under the theme of Freedom and Independence. At a significant ceremony and expanded educational and academic gathering, Deputy Minister Dr. Hatem Al-Daais emphasized the revolution's essential role in state-building, restoring national sovereignty and independence, and ending foreign control that has drained the country's resources.

According to Yemen News Agency, Dr. Al-Daais highlighted the revolution's foundation on principles of freedom, independence, and dignity, aiming to build a just state that serves all citizens. He underscored the need to strengthen the faith-based identity as a core element for creating a cohesive and resilient society capable of overcoming challenges and threats.

Dr. Al-Daais also stressed the important role of educators and academics in nurturing a generation grounded in values and principles, understanding the transformative reasons behind the country's changes. He emphasized instilling values such as freedom, independence, and dignity, along with fostering a spirit of work, responsibility, and patriotism.

The deputy minister addressed the impact of Saudi aggression on educational and academic institutions, affecting teachers, students, families, and society. He refuted claims that Yemeni armed forces targeted Makkah, affirming the Yemeni people's deep respect for Islamic holy sites in Makkah, Madinah, and Al-Quds.

Reaffirming support for revolutionary and political leadership and the armed forces, Dr. Al-Daais declared the commitment to defending the Yemeni people against warfare, conspiracies, and falsehoods, maintaining a blockade-for-blockade stance until freedom and independence are fully realized.

Meanwhile, Sanaa Province Deputy Governor for the Educational Sector, Talib Dahhan, conveyed the educators' message, focusing on their duties and responsibilities in achieving the revolution's goals and enhancing educational outcomes. He highlighted ten pillars of responsibility, from embracing change to the educational institution's role in practice, emphasizing identity, development, unity, and leadership.

The ceremony concluded with participants pledging allegiance and loyalty to revolution leader Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, with Deputy Minister Dr. Hatem Al-Daais receiving the document on behalf of the leadership.
