Sana'a: The Ministry of Education and Scientific Research organized an expanded meeting on Wednesday to prepare for and welcome the holy month of Ramadan and to launch its activities for the year 1447 AH. Participants at the meeting listened to a previous lecture by the Revolution Leader, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, on preparing to receive the holy month of Ramadan, in which he reviewed the virtues of the blessed month as a time for spiritual development and self-discipline.
According to Yemen News Agency, in his lecture, the Leader stressed the importance of preparing to welcome the holy month with its opportunities, goodness, blessings, and gifts, and highlighted its significance as a period for self-purification, freeing oneself from negative accumulations and influences, and emerging from the distractions and challenges imposed by the pressures of life throughout the year.
During the meeting, Minister of Education and Scientific Research Hassan Al-Saadi emphasized the importance of embracing the spirituality of the holy month and benefiting from the Ramadan program and the lectures of the Revolution Leader, given their role in strengthening the faith-based spirit derived from the Book of Allah.
At the meeting, attended by Deputy Minister Dr. Hatem Al-Da'ees and a number of ministry sector deputies, Minister Al-Saadi also pointed to the importance of making good use of time by reading the Qur'an, increasing acts of worship at the family and community levels, affirming the ministry's continued efforts to improve the performance of its staff within the available resources.
Minister Al-Saadi urged everyone to be sincere in their work, adhere to Qur'anic culture, implement awareness programs and beneficial lessons, and encourage acts of charity, benevolence, social solidarity, and attention to the needs of the underprivileged.
