Education Reviews 1st Scientific Innovation Forum for University Students

Sana'a: Deputy Minister of Education, Education, and Scientific Research Dr. Hatem al-Duais on Monday reviewed the progress of the First Scientific Innovation Forum for students from public and private universities and community colleges. Accompanied by senior educational and research officials, Dr. al-Duais visited the exhibition hosted at Ibn Al-Nafis Medical University. The group toured the displays featuring 40 innovative projects submitted by ten different institutions. The projects spanned various fields, including Medical and Engineering breakthroughs, Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies, Smart Security Systems, and Modern technical solutions and devices.

According to Yemen News Agency, Dr. al-Duais praised the students' creativity, stating that these projects reflect advanced scientific awareness and a genuine ability to transform challenges-imposed by aggression and siege-into opportunities for excellence. He emphasized the importance of fostering partnerships between universities and the public/private sectors to turn these prototypes into practical products for the labor market. The visit concluded with a review of research summaries from medical interns, particularly those integrating medicine with AI.
