Sana'a: A cultural event was held today at Al-Saeed Educational Complex in Al-Mina District, Al-Hodeidah Governorate, commemorating the martyrdom of Imam Zaid bin Ali (peace be upon them). During the event, the Deputy Governor for Services Affairs, Mohammed Halisi, considered the commemoration of Imam Zaid's martyrdom as a spiritual occasion to draw upon the values of dignity, honor, and jihad in confronting forces of tyranny, and to embody the principles carried by Imam Zaid in his reformist project based on supporting truth and establishing justice.
According to Yemen News Agency, Halisi emphasized the importance of instilling awareness among younger generations about Imam Zaid's biography, and strengthening their connection to Islamic figures who demonstrated the finest examples of sacrifice and steadfastness in defense of principles and values. He called for benefiting from the lessons and morals embodied in this occasion to build a conscious generation committed to its faith identity, capable of contributing to serving its homeland and community.
