Sa'ada: The Education Sector in Saada Governorate and Al-Saeed Educational Complex organized a cultural event to commemorate Ashura, marking the martyrdom of Imam Hussein.
According to Yemen News Agency, sector official Mohammed Al-Dawla emphasized that Ashura is not merely a historical memory but serves as an ongoing school that motivates individuals to stand against tyranny. He highlighted the parallels between the historical abandonment of Hussein in Karbala and the current situation in Gaza, which faces aggression.
Al-Dawla noted that the supporters of Hussein in Karbala are akin to those who support Gaza today, referring to it as 'the Karbala of the era.' The event featured speeches, chants, and poetry that highlighted the Yemeni people's connection to Hussein's principles and his fight against injustice.
