Taiz: The Education Sector in Taiz Governorate, in partnership with Taiz University's Al-Hawban branch, the Technical Education and Vocational Training Sector, and the Literacy and Adult Education branch, held an expanded coordination meeting on Wednesday for educational and academic personnel under the slogan 'At Your Service, O Messenger of Allah,' to launch activities marking the anniversary of the Prophet Mohammed's birthday.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting was attended by Shura Council member Abdulaziz Al-Rumaima, Education Sector official Dr. Mohammed Al-Dhibani, Taiz University Al-Hawban branch head Dr. Ahmed Al-Amiri, and Technical Industrial Institute Dean Mansour Al-Qubati. The discussion highlighted the importance of strengthening ties with the Prophet's noble biography.
Education training official Mansour Al-Salwi discussed the values of the Prophet's character in restoring dignity, honor, independence, and resilience in facing current challenges. He emphasized that educational institutions bear responsibility for raising generations with a strong faith-based identity. Al-Salwi noted that the education sector has prepared a comprehensive plan, including activities, seminars, and awareness programs in schools and educational centers.
Participants in the meeting discussed educational and academic approaches for commemorating the occasion. They focused on incorporating lessons from the Prophet's biography into teaching, student activities, and academic research to strengthen identity and awareness among youth. The importance of coordination between educational and academic leaders was stressed to ensure the success of the planned events and to intensify efforts in organizing activities that reflect the significance of the occasion.
