Amran: The Amran governorate branch of the Martyrs' Families Care Foundation has initiated its Eid al-Adha distribution project, aimed at assisting the most impoverished families of martyrs and missing persons.
According to Yemen News Agency, the launch was marked by a statement from Governor Dr. Faisal Juma'an, who emphasized that distributing sacrificial animals to these families represents a gesture of loyalty to their sacrifices in defending Yemen's sovereignty and independence. He noted that this initiative is a minimal acknowledgment of the ultimate sacrifices made by these families in confronting aggression and thwarting its plans.
Dr. Juma'an called for solidarity, compassion, and support for poor and needy families, with a particular focus on the families of martyrs. He highlighted the limitations faced by the Martyrs' Families Care Foundation and the General Authority for the Care of Martyrs' Families in fulfilling all needs, especially amid the ongoing challenges posed by the US-Zionist aggression and blockade.
Ibrahim al-Nunu, Director of the Martyrs Care Authority branch in the governorate, detailed that the project will distribute sacrificial animals to over 1,500 families, with assistance from the foundation and local leadership. He commended the governorate's leadership for their dedication to supporting the foundation's and authority's efforts.
