Sana'a: The Ministry of Civil Service and Administrative Development announced on Monday that the Eid al-Fitr holiday for all employees of the state administrative apparatus and the public and mixed sectors will begin on Wednesday, 29 Ramadan, corresponding to March 18, and will end on Monday, 4 Shawwal, corresponding to March 23.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Ministry stated in a press release that official working hours will resume on Tuesday, 5 Shawwal, corresponding to March 24. This adjustment is due to Friday, 1 Shawwal, which is part of the holiday period and is already an official weekly holiday. As per Paragraph (1) of Article (3) of Law No. (2) of 2000 concerning official holidays and vacations, Monday, 4 Shawwal, will be a compensatory day off.
On this occasion, the Ministries of Civil Service and Administrative Development and Information extended their warmest congratulations and best wishes to the Leader of the Revolution, the President and members of the Supreme Political Council, the Prime Minister and members of the Government of Change and Construction, the members of the Armed Forces and Security Forces stationed in positions of honor and heroism, and to all the people of Yemen, wishing them a blessed Eid al-Fitr.
