Dhamar:The bodies of eight martyrs, who died while defending their homeland, were laid to rest on Monday in the Dhamar governorate.
According to Yemen News Agency, the martyrs included Colonel Baligh Abdu Abdullah Al-Ja'di, Lieutenant Colonel Mohammed Ali Yusuf Al-Nahari, Lieutenant Colonel Aseel Mohammed Qaid Al-Shawwaf, Major Abdu Ibrahim Yusuf Al-Nahari, Major Alawi Mohammed Mohammed Al-Shami, Major Sulaiman Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ja'di, Captain Ismail Ali Ghanem Radman Al-Thulathi, all from Wasab Al-Ali District, and Bashir Abdu Ahmed Qaid Al-Tawil from the Haran neighborhood in Dhamar City.
The funeral procession was led by Shura Council member Abdu Al-Alawi, Deputy Governors Mohammed Abdul-Razzaq and Mahmoud Al-Jabin, Wasab Al-Ali District Director Mujahid Al-Musannaf, and the district's General Mobilization officials, Murtada Al-Nahari and Abdul-Karim Al-Shathbi. A large number of local, executive, security, and military leaders, as well as prominent social figures, participated in the procession. Mourners praised the martyrs for their heroic actions on the battlefield, defending the nation.
Those present at the funeral renewed their commitment to follow the path of the martyrs, vowing to continue their dedication and sacrifice for the homeland's defense, sovereignty, and dignity.
The families of the martyrs expressed pride in their sons' sacrifices and affirmed their commitment to continue their legacy of dedication for the sake of God. The martyrs were laid to rest at the Martyrs' Cemetery in Dhamar City after funeral prayers.
