Amran: The offices of the Endowments and Zakat Commissions in Amran province commemorated the 18th anniversary of the death of Allama Majd al-Din al-Muwaidi on Friday. Abdullah Al-Jarmoozi, director of the Endowments Authority branch in the province, highlighted the significance of honoring Al-Muwaidi’s legacy in serving religion.
According to Yemen News Agency, Allama Mustafa Al-Houthi stressed the importance of learning from Allama Al-Muwaidi’s life, marked by tenderness and sacrifice. The commemorative event included a speech by Allama Abdulmutallab Al-Makhdi, who underscored the necessity of focusing on science to cultivate a generation of scholars dedicated to serving the nation and addressing its issues.
Al-Makhdi elaborated on Allama al-Muwaidi’s contributions, noting his revival of the Prophet’s House methodology through his knowledge, education, guidance, and argumentation in line with the Prophet’s teachings, which emphasized science, knowledge, and jihad for God’s sake. He also recounted various stages of Allama Al-Muwaidi’s life, dedicated to studying, teaching, worship, guidance, counseling, and calling to God with wisdom and good advice.
