Taiz: Taiz province launched on Monday the end of the second semester exams for students of the basic and secondary transportation stages for the academic year 1446. During the inauguration, the exams took place at the schools of Khawlah bint al-Azur and Shaheed al-Qablani in Taiziya district, as well as the November 30 complex in Sallah district.
According to Yemen News Agency, Muhammad al-Khalidi, the province’s mobilization official, Abdul Jalil al-Sami’i, the province’s education sector official, and Adib al-Rumaimah, the director of the office of the Undersecretary of the Education Sector at the Education Ministry, reviewed the progress of the tests. They focused on the level of organization and preparation. The officials praised the efforts of the sub-committees and supervisory committees responsible for organizing the testing process, highlighting the resilience of the educational front amidst a decade of aggression, blockade, and suspension of salaries.
Sayyid Al-Sami’i remarked on the educational year’s productivity, emphasizing that the total number of male and female students participating in the transfer tests for the end of the second semester is about 500,000. These students are distributed among 850 public and private schools across the province’s directorates. Al-Sami’i acknowledged the collective efforts to launch and successfully conduct the final exams, expressing his wishes for the students’ success.
