Al-Udayn: An expanded meeting took place in the Directorate of Al-Udayn Branch in Ibb Governorate, led by Ammar Al-Hareb, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Administration and Local and Rural Development. The meeting aimed to explore methods and development plans to bolster the community’s involvement in implementing initiatives and advancing the agricultural and service sectors.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting included several officials and concentrated on the Al-Udayn Branch Cooperative Society’s role in fostering community participation and supporting agricultural development. The discussion highlighted community projects that have been executed and their positive impact on alleviating citizens’ hardships. The support from the Emergency Intervention Unit, which provided essential resources like cement and diesel, was also commended for contributing to the success of these initiatives.
The Undersecretary emphasized the necessity of establishing the Agricultural Cooperative Society within the directorate, reflecting the Government of Change and Construction’s dedication to this cause. Meanwhile, the Undersecretary of the Governorate reaffirmed the local authority’s commitment to overcoming challenges related to forming cooperative societies and supporting community-driven efforts.
Furthermore, the director of the directorate shared that efforts are underway to announce the association’s formation and ensure its efficacy. He praised the community’s proactive engagement in carrying out development initiatives.
During their visit to Al-Wazirah Rural Hospital, officials received insights from the Director of the Health Office in the Directorate regarding the hospital’s capabilities, the services it provides to the community, and the primary challenges it faces. The reopening of the hospital after years of closure was noted as a significant achievement in enhancing health services in the region.
