Ibb: The Executive Office in Al-Qafr District in Ibb Governorate recently convened a meeting led by Jamal Al-Alawi, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Administration and Local and Rural Development, to explore methods for enhancing the performance of the Al-Qafr Agricultural Cooperative Society.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting focused on strategies for activating the society and the role of relevant authorities in ensuring its successful operation. Discussions also highlighted the importance of training and developing community leaders, referred to as development knights, to promote community-driven initiatives.
The meeting further delved into how community initiatives could bolster development efforts, emphasizing the need to capitalize on the directorate’s agricultural resources, particularly in cereal cultivation and beekeeping. These initiatives are seen as vital components in fostering sustainable development in the region.
