Beirut: At the break of dawn, millions gathered along the route from Camille Chamoun Sports City to the airport road, eagerly awaiting the funeral procession of two significant figures, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and Hashem Safieddine. According to Yemen News Agency, the procession commenced with abundant tears and determination, as millions participated in the funeral of the Hezbollah leaders. The journey began at Camille Chamoun Sports City and proceeded to the shrine where Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah would be laid to rest. The processions demonstrated the unwavering solidarity and spirit planted by the martyrs, with participants expressing their support by carrying banners and flags.
The funeral prayers were led by Sheikh Muhammad Yazbek, representative of Imam Ali Khamenei in Lebanon, at the Sports City in Beirut. Following the official ceremony, a mass march made its way towards the shrine of Sayyed Nasrallah, while the martyr Hashem Safieddine was to be buried in his hometown, Deir Qanoun al-Nahr, in southern Lebanon.
