Environmental Awareness Program Launched for Summer Students in Ma’in District

Sana'a: The Environmental Awareness Center and Wa3 FM Radio, in partnership with the Summer Courses Subcommittee, have initiated an environmental awareness program tailored for summer school students in the Ma'in District. This initiative is a segment of the broader "Future Generation" program.

According to Yemen News Agency, the program is comprehensive, incorporating lectures, flashcards, brochures, and educational competitions. It targets 40 summer schools throughout the capital. At the launch event held at the Martyr Leader School, students actively participated by presenting a radio program that highlighted the significance of cleanliness and the societal role in maintaining it.

Officials involved in the initiative have stressed the importance of embedding environmental awareness in young individuals. They believe that this program not only aligns with the students' religious identity but also encourages their active engagement in preserving cleanliness within their communities.
