Erdogan: We Seek to Increase Our Trade with China in Balanced Manner

Tianjin: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan affirmed on Monday his country's desire to increase its trade volume with China in a "balanced and sustainable manner." This came during his meeting with Cai Qi, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, on the sidelines of the 25th Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit held in Tianjin, China.

According to Yemen News Agency, Erdogan stated, "We seek to increase our trade volume, which is approaching $50 billion, in a balanced and sustainable manner." Erdogan also highlighted the discussions held with the Chinese President, expressing a shared commitment to developing cooperation between Turkey and China across all fields.
