Tokyo: European stocks rose on Friday, approaching a five-month high, as investors overcame the impact of rising inflation in the United States. The pan-European STOXX 600 index rose 0.2 percent, driven by gains in mining and chemical stocks.
According to Yemen News Agency, the German DAX and French CAC 40 each rose 0.8 percent. The British FTSE 100 index also rose 0.1 percent.
