Brussels: European stock indices fell on Thursday as investors remained cautious amid anticipation of developments in negotiations to resolve the conflict between the United States and Iran. The pan-European STOXX 600 index fell 0.2 percent to 618.79 points after rising 1.5 percent on Wednesday to close near its highest level in two weeks.
According to Yemen News Agency, European stocks have been unable to return to pre-US-Israeli aggression levels due to Europe's reliance on oil imports. Financial markets currently expect the European Central Bank to raise interest rates two or more times before the end of the year.
