Hajjah: The Hajjah branch of the General Electricity Corporation and the residents of Qarn Habab in the governorate's capital organized a cultural evening yesterday to celebrate the Prophet's birthday (peace and blessings be upon him and his family).
According to Yemen News Agency, during the evening, Deputy Governor Ahmed Al-Akhfash noted the pride of the descendants of the Ansar (Helpers of the Prophet) in belonging to the Seal of the Prophets (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) and their eagerness to celebrate his birth as an expression of their devotion to Allah, His Messenger, his family, and the guiding lights of Islam.
He emphasized the importance of commemorating the Prophet's birthday in a dignified manner to reaffirm the deep-rooted and unwavering Yemeni faith and connection to the Chosen One (peace and blessings be upon him and his family). He pointed out the Yemenis' adherence to the Prophet's righteous path at a time when a number of Islamic and Arab countries have aligned themselves with the Great Satan (Satan).
He urged support for the revolutionary leadership and the armed forces in confronting the Saudi aggression and its mercenaries, ending the aggression and the blockade, and recovering the plundered national wealth. Deputy Governor Al-Akhfash called for a dignified and widespread gathering to celebrate the Prophet's birthday (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) on the twelfth of Rabi' al-Awwal, in a manner that embodies the connection between the people of wisdom and faith and the noble Messenger.
Meanwhile, the director of the foundation's branch in the governorate, Abdul Rahman Thabit, considered the birth of the Prophet one of the greatest milestones in Islamic history, one that changed the world map with the downfall of the most powerful figures of disbelief and polytheism. His birth shone a light upon the entire universe, illuminating the corners of the earth and leading humanity from misguidance to guidance.
He addressed the significance of commemorating this noble religious occasion amidst the Saudi aggression against the people of wisdom and faith, who have made this occasion a source of spiritual strength to bolster their resilience and steadfastness in the face of dangers and challenges.
Thabit pointed out that celebrating the birth of the Seal of the Prophets (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) and adhering to his teachings embodies a sincere expression of love for Allah, a close connection, and a reaffirmation of following his path and emulating his patience, knowledge, courage, and struggle. He emphasized the necessity of instilling a profound love for the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and sincere devotion to him in the hearts of rising generations, so they may follow the path of jihad adopted by the descendants of the Ansar since their conversion to Islam.
The evening, attended by the leadership and members of the electricity branch, as well as executive, local, mobilization, and social figures, included folk performances, songs, and expressive poems.
