Sana'a: Cultural evenings were held in Bani Al-Harith district of the Capital Secretariat to celebrate the birth of the Prophet Muhammad, may the best prayers and peace be upon him and his family.
According to Yemen News Agency, the events, organized by the residents of Beit Al-Khawy and Beit Al-Jalal in Al-Hattarsh neighborhood, and Al-Jamnah Square in Dars neighborhood, were attended by Shura Council member Adel Al-Hanbasi. Local council member in the Capital, Mohsen Haroun, described commemorating this great occasion as a triumph of the principles and values of the Prophetic message. He emphasized that it inspires the nation to support justice and the oppressed, emulate the Prophet's noble character, and follow his righteous path.
District Director Hamad bin Rakan highlighted the importance of celebrating the Prophet's birthday to foster love for the Messenger in people's hearts, emulate his ethics, principles, and life, and follow the Muhammadan path of faith. He stressed that it is a great honor and source of pride to meet with residents during these celebrations, expressing love and reverence for the Prophet Muhammad, may peace be upon him, while remembering his noble biography, values, and ethics.
The director also noted that Bani Al-Harith district is witnessing widespread Muhammadan activity through various events and evenings, cleanliness campaigns in neighborhoods, and community initiatives to support the poor and needy, reflecting the compassion and humanity exemplified by the Prophet.
Speakers at the events emphasized the significance of commemorating the Prophet's birthday as a spiritual occasion to renew loyalty to the Messenger, strengthen the connection to him, and draw lessons from his virtuous life. They also expressed pride in the Yemeni people's stance, led by the revolution leader, Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi, in supporting Gaza and the Palestinian people and their heroic fighters against the criminal Zionist enemy, despite the Arab and Islamic world's inaction.
