Maeen district: Maeen District in the Capital Secretariat hosted celebratory evenings on Friday to commemorate the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad, organized by various neighborhoods and local communities.
According to Yemen News Agency, the residents of Al-Sidrah in Al-Sunainah Al-Janubiyah, Sawad Asr in Asr, Al-Sunainah Al-Shamaliyah, Al-Ikhlas Al-Gharbiyah, Saad bin Abi Waqqas, Al-Moallemi, and Ahfad Bilal in Al-Qubbah, Bustan Al-Yamani in Al-Zira'ah, along with several neighborhoods in southern Madhbah, held Mawlid-themed events. These gatherings featured chants, poems, and praises dedicated to the Prophet.
During the events, speakers emphasized the noble aspects of the Prophet's biography, highlighting values such as compassion, solidarity, brotherhood, and good conduct. They urged residents to actively participate in the major central celebration scheduled for Rabi' Al-Awwal 12 at Al-Sabeen Square.
