Sana'a: Queen Arwa University in Sana'a today organized a lecture-based event to celebrate the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), 1447 AH. During the event, Abdul Karim Al-Dhahak, Director of Activities at the Higher Education Sector, emphasized that celebrating the Prophet's birthday is a religious and ethical duty. It honors and venerates the Prophet, recalls his noble life, encourages following his guidance, and serves as an opportunity to expose the schemes and malicious tactics of the Zionist enemy, who seek to distance the nation from its symbols and role models, particularly the Prophet.
According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Dhahak highlighted the historical role of Yemenis in supporting the Prophet, advocating Islam, and defending the oppressed, noting that they exemplified the true model of Islam. He also praised Yemen's steadfast support for the oppressed in Gaza, especially amid Arab and Islamic silence, affirming the Yemeni people's unwavering position in backing their wise leadership to assist Gaza, regardless of sacrifices or conspiracies.
Cultural activist Hassan Sharaf Al-Din stressed the importance of celebrating the birth of the best of creation, the mercy sent to the worlds, and the radiant guide, renewing the pledge to follow the path of their ancestors, the Ansar. He described the occasion as a vital moment to recall the Prophet's practical life, his dedication, sacrifice, struggle, and leadership, while also highlighting attempts by Jews and their allies in the region to erase Islamic history and detach the nation from the Prophet and his exemplary path.
Dr. Mohammed Al-Khayyat, President of Queen Arwa University, spoke about the significance of this occasion for Muslims, particularly Yemenis, urging everyone to emulate the Prophet's noble life and embody his morals and ethics in all aspects of life. He also described the celebration as an opportunity to renew love and loyalty to God and His Messenger, reinforce Quranic values, and instill them in the coming generations.
