Hodeidah: The Technical College of Health Emergency Sciences in Hodeidah Governorate held on Thursday a speech event to commemorate the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him and his family.
According to Yemen News Agency, Northern Axis Commander Major General Fadel Al-Dhayani addressed the gathering, emphasizing that commemorating the Prophet's birthday renews generations' connection with the life of the Prophet and reinforces awareness of the values of faith, knowledge, morality, and responsibility embodied in his message. He also highlighted the importance of fostering love for the Prophet and following his example in conduct and work.
Al-Dhayani pointed out that the occasion strengthens adherence to the Prophet's approach and highlights the nation's responsibility toward just causes, particularly supporting the Palestinian people and their resistance. He urged attendees to draw lessons of patience, sacrifice, and steadfastness from the Prophet's life in all areas of life and work.
Sheikh Ali Odaabi, Deputy President of Dar Al-Uloom Al-Sharia University in the governorate, also spoke at the event. He explained the legitimacy of commemorating the Prophet's birthday as an opportunity to recall the Prophet's life and approach to building a nation based on knowledge, awareness, and morality. He emphasized the importance of strengthening generations' connection with the Holy Quran and the Prophetic biography.
Odaabi stressed the need to translate love for the Prophet into practical conduct in professional and public service fields, particularly in the health and humanitarian sectors. He noted that graduates of the Technical College of Health Emergency Sciences undertake responsibilities that reflect the Prophetic values of compassion, benevolence, and service to the community.
He further underscored the importance of commemorating the Prophet's birthday in a way that promotes awareness of his life and reinforces faith-based and moral values among students and educational staff. He encouraged their application in education, professional work, and community service.
