Al-mahwit: The Social Unit in Al-Mahwit Governorate organized a speech event to commemorate the annual anniversary of the Martyr of the Quran, Sayyid Hussein Badr al-Din al-Houthi. The event highlighted the significance of learning from his religious, intellectual, and political journey, as well as his contributions to establishing the Quranic project aimed at liberating the nation from misguidance and dependency.
According to Yemen News Agency, the speeches delivered at the event emphasized that the martyred leader's initiative was a comprehensive project. It included scientific and economic dimensions, focusing on the nation's independence and self-sufficiency, while confronting forces of arrogance and resisting projects of submission and surrender.
The event further stressed the martyred leader's dedication to unifying the nation on a Quranic foundation, rejecting sectarian and factional conflicts, and enhancing the authentic Islamic identity. Additionally, it underscored the importance of continuing to spread the values of the Quranic project and promoting youth awareness of these principles.
In addition to speeches, the event featured poems and an artistic operetta that expressed the significance of the occasion.
