Hodeidah: The Land Transport Regulatory Authority and freight transport offices in Al-Hodeidah Governorate organized a commemorative event to mark the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) for the year 1447 AH, under the slogan 'At Your Service, O Messenger of Allah.'
According to Yemen News Agency, First Deputy Governor Ahmed Al-Bishri emphasized the spiritual and religious importance of commemorating the Prophet's birth. He affirmed that the event serves as an opportunity to strengthen attachment to the Noble Messenger, renew the pledge to follow his path, and draw inspiration from his values in confronting forces of tyranny and arrogance.
Al-Bishri described the celebration of the Prophet's birthday in Yemen as a strong rebuke to forces from the colonial West and deviant movements that aim to distort Islam, particularly Wahhabism and its followers. He stressed that the occasion reflects the authentic identity of the nation and its awareness of the threats posed by the war on its values.
He further noted that the annual celebrations of the blessed Prophet's birthday in Yemen provide the nation with spiritual and moral momentum, strengthening its steadfastness in the struggle for freedom. Al-Bishri added that through this commemoration, the people of Yemen present scenes of loyalty and support that transcend words.
