Al-bayda: The branch of the Telecommunications Corporation, the Civil Service Office, the Postal Authority, the Insurance and Pensions Authority, and the Executive Unit for Roads in Al-Bayda Governorate organized a commemorative event on Sunday to mark the Martyr's Anniversary. Al-Bayda Governor Abdullah Idris highlighted the significance of this occasion as a tribute to those who sacrificed their lives for the homeland's sovereignty.
According to Yemen News Agency, Governor Idris emphasized the importance of the Martyr's Anniversary in reflecting loyalty and gratitude towards the martyrs. He described it as a spiritual and educational moment that teaches lessons of patience and resilience against challenges and conspiracies targeting the nation. The governor also noted the anniversary's relevance during a historic period for Arab and Islamic nations, with Yemen's support for the Palestinian cause and opposition to American and Zionist actions.
Governor Idris reiterated Yemen's commitment to the martyrs' legacy, emphasizing their role in defending the oppressed and confronting disbelief and hypocrisy. He assured continued support for the families of martyrs, recognizing their sacrifices for the nation's security and independence.
The event was attended by deputy governors, the Civil Service Office Director, and Al-Bayda City Director. Engineer Adnan Al-Qasous, Director of the Telecommunications Corporation branch, highlighted the Martyr's Anniversary as a symbol of sacrifice and dedication to the homeland. He affirmed the Yemeni people's resilience against conspiracies and challenges, vowing continued support for the Palestinian cause and Gaza.
Additionally, Mohammed Al-Harthi, Member of the Association of Yemeni Scholars, commended the unity and awareness of the Yemeni people in supporting their leadership and defending the homeland. He emphasized the enduring impact of the martyrs' sacrifices, which have brought dignity, pride, and victories on the battlefronts. Commemorating the anniversary, he noted, is a testament to the martyrs' heroism and their invaluable lessons in resisting invaders.
