Sa'ada: Residents of Al-Aqab area in Sa'ada District, Sa'ada Governorate, held a commemorative event on Saturday marking the anniversary of the birth of Prophet Muhammad. During the event, Governor Mohammed Awad urged residents to attend the major central celebration on Rabi' al-Awwal 12, marking the Prophet's birthday. He emphasized that the growing number of activities leading up to the central event sends a message to the enemies affirming Yemenis' strong connection with the Prophet.
According to Yemen News Agency, Governor Awad remarked that commemorating the Prophet's birthday represents a spiritual occasion for drawing inspiration from his life and strengthening resilience in facing challenges. Mohammed Al-Imad, Secretary-General of the governorate's local council, attended the event. Deputy Governor Saleh Aqab noted that the Yemeni people's observance of the occasion reflects their love and attachment to the Prophet.
Meanwhile, scholar Mohammed Al-Hadi, a member of the Association of Yemeni Scholars, highlighted aspects of the Prophet's life and his struggle, as well as the Yemeni people's deep connection to the Prophet and his message. He stated that the Yemeni people's celebration of this religious occasion angers their enemies.
