Sana'a: Yemen Scholars Association and the General Authority of Endowments and Guidance held on Thursday a speech event at the Grand Mosque in the capital Sana'a to commemorate the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Ali bin Abi Talib. During the event titled 'Conqueror of Khaybar and Martyr of al-Mehrab,' speakers highlighted the life, values and sacrifices of Imam Ali, stressing the importance of drawing lessons from his courage, faith and steadfastness.
According to Yemen News Agency, they emphasized the need to uphold the principles he represented and to strengthen unity and resilience in confronting challenges facing the Muslim nation. Participants also noted the significance of commemorating the occasion to revive the moral and humanitarian values embodied by Imam Ali and to inspire commitment to justice, faith and support for the oppressed.
