Event in Khawlan District Celebrates Mawlid al-Nabawi with Community Leaders and Cultural Performances

Sana'a: A celebratory evening and a speech event were held in Khawlan District, Sana'a Governorate, commemorating the anniversary of the noble Prophet's birth (may the best prayers and purest peace be upon him and his family).

According to Yemen News Agency, the evening was held in the village of Dhibah, Al-A'rush isolate, attended by Member of Parliament Abdullah Al-Ghadir, Deputy Governors Fares Al-Kahali and Abdullah Al-Abyad, and local council member Abdullah Hantash. The Governorate Advisor, Yahya Al-Mu'ayyadi, emphasized that celebrating this great occasion represents a spiritual station to renew loyalty and love for the Messenger of God (peace be upon him and his family), to emulate him and the guidance of the Holy Quran, and to strengthen practical connection to the upright path.

Meanwhile, an educational event was held at Al-Wahda School in Bani Salih, Al-Arqoub Square, attended by Deputy Governor Abdullah Al-Abyad, Governorate Advisor Yahya Al-Mu'ayyadi, District Director Ra'd Al-Jamali, and District Security Director Colonel Bakeel Hafeedh.

During the event, the head of the educational sector in the district, Mohammed Tamish, emphasized the importance of commemorating the Mawlid al-Nabawi to enhance awareness of the noble Prophet's pure biography and to draw from it the values of faith, morals, work, and solidarity, translating them into behavior and practical practices that contribute to elevating institutional performance and serving the community.

The event, attended by local, executive, mobilization, and educational leaders and social figures, featured poetic recitals by poets Sufyan Al-Daba' and Jamil Ja'far, along with chanting segments and folkloric performances expressing the greatness of the occasion.
