Event in Sana’a Commemorates Anniversary of Martyr of the Quran

Sana'a: The branch of Al-Badr College for the Quran and its Sciences in Bani Hashish directorate, Sana'a Governorate, organized a speech event commemorating the annual anniversary of the Martyr of the Quran, Sayyid Hussein Badr al-Din al-Houthi.

According to Yemen News Agency, the event featured speeches that underscored the significance of marking this anniversary, emphasizing the renewal of the methodology and culture championed by the martyred leader in opposing forces of arrogance. It was noted that his Quranic project represented an early opposition to the American-Zionist agenda and played a pivotal role in transitioning the nation from a state of vulnerability and humiliation to one of pride, dignity, and freedom.

The speeches further highlighted the bravery and sacrifice of the martyred leader in his support for the oppressed and his stand against hegemonic forces. The anniversary was deemed a milestone for drawing lessons to enhance justice values, revive the spirit of jihad, honor the sacrifices of martyrs, and adhere to the Quranic project for the nation's progress.

The event also featured recitations and poetic segments dedicated to the occasion, with attendance from academic, mobilization, and cultural leaders.
