Bani saad: Bani Saad district in Al-Mahwit governorate witnessed speeches on Saturday in several villages, commemorating the Prophet Muhammad's birthday (peace and blessings be upon him and his family). A speech event was held in the northern villages of the district, including Hawaa, Al Shuwai', Bani Qarat, Al Tawil, and Bani Saba'.
According to Yemen News Agency, the event was attended by the head of the Bani Saad Multipurpose Cooperative Society, Othman Yassin, as well as the directors of the Endowments, Legal Affairs, and State Lands and Real Estate offices, and the deputy head of the Education Sector. During the event, the district director, Mutahhar Al Tawil, emphasized the importance of commemorating the Prophet's birthday to recall the noble life of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) and the high values, principles, and morals it embodies, which promote compassion, solidarity, and cooperation among members of the community.
He noted that the widespread community engagement with this occasion reflects the high esteem in which the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) is held by the Yemeni people. He called for strengthening official and community efforts, activating cooperative initiatives, and actively participating in the central events commemorating the Prophet's birthday.
In Deir al-Sharif district, a cultural event was held with the participation of residents from the Deir al-Sharif, Bani Ali, and Bani Hammadi districts. The event was attended by the directors of the Guidance, Health, and Environment offices, along with sheikhs, dignitaries, social figures, and a large gathering of residents from the districts. The participants expressed their joy at the Prophet's birthday, emphasizing the importance of commemorating this religious occasion and promoting the values of love, solidarity, and emulating the life of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him).
The governor's advisor, Ismail al-Atmi, praised the level of celebration of the Prophet's birthday, affirming that the commemoration of this occasion embodies the deep connection of the people of Bani Saad and Al Mahwit to the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), and their commitment to following his guidance and example. For his part, the mobilization officer at the directorate, Taher al-Ansi, explained that commemorating the Prophet's birthday presents an opportunity to draw lessons and inspiration from his life and to reinforce Islamic values within the community and among future generations, thus contributing to strengthening faith-based identity and fostering a spirit of cooperation and solidarity.
In turn, Abdullah Bakhit, the mobilization officer in the Deir al-Sharif district, affirmed that celebrating the Prophet's birthday reflects a deep connection to the Prophet Muhammad and a commitment to emulating his noble example and the values of faith, morality, mercy, compassion, and solidarity that he exemplified.
A cultural event was also held in the Bani al-Shuwaishi and al-Qawazah districts to celebrate the Prophet's birthday, attended by Khalid al-Nahari, the mobilization officer in Bani al-Shuwaishi, along with a number of sheikhs, dignitaries, community leaders, social and educational figures, mobilization officials, and residents of the area. At the event, the Director of Security of Bani Saad Directorate, Lieutenant Colonel Abdul-Alim Al-Siraji, affirmed that commemorating the Prophet's birthday renews the connection with the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and his family and grant them peace, and adherence to his values and principles, and strengthens the presence of faith and moral values in society.
