Executive and Local Leaders Assess Summer Activities in Jabal Ras District

Al hodeidah: Executive and local leaders in Hodeidah Governorate conducted a field visit today to inspect the performance of summer courses and the level of implementation of their activities in Jabal Ras District, as part of the attention to the future generation and their fortification with knowledge and learning.

According to Yemen News Agency, the assigned committee, which included the Director of the General Authority for Zakat office in the province, Mohammed Haza'; the Head of Guidance Sector for the Southern Quadrant districts, Walid Al-Jabr; the Secretary General of the Local Council in the district, Ibrahim Al-Humaidi; and a number of educational leaders, reviewed the nature of educational, cultural, and sports programs in the summer activity centers in the villages of Al-Matawfah and Al-Asha'er, as well as a number of other centers in the district.

The visitors listened to a briefing from those in charge of the courses about the level of student turnout and the extent of their benefit from the approved curricula.

During the visit, the Director of the Zakat Authority office affirmed the importance of summer courses in building students' capacities and developing their creative skills, praising the level of community awareness reflected in parents pushing their children to these educational incubators that aim to consolidate faith identity and protect youth from foreign cultures.

For his part, the Head of Guidance for the Southern Quadrant pointed out that these visits aim to remove difficulties that may hinder the workflow in summer centers and ensure the achievement of the desired goals of investing free time in ways that benefit students and their community.
