Sana'a: The staff of the executive offices in the Capital Sana'a organized large gatherings on Wednesday to celebrate Rajab Friday and the month dedicated to faith identity, marked by the slogan: 'With our faith identity. we defend our Qur'an and our sanctities.'
According to Yemen News Agency, the events were organized by the Secretariat's Diwan and various offices including Health, Public Works, and Transport, among others. Participants expressed their pride in their faith identity during these sacred days of Rajab, commemorating Yemen's mass conversion to Islam under Imam Ali, who conveyed a message from Prophet Muhammad that led to a sincere acceptance of faith.
Attendees affirmed that Yemenis maintain their faith identity, adhering to the Qur'an and following the Prophet and his family as leaders. They highlighted the struggles faced in defending the Qur'an, protecting the nation, and enduring hardships.
In a statement, the gatherings' participants extended congratulations to Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi and the Yemeni people on Rajab Friday. They reaffirmed their pride in the recognition by Prophet Muhammad, who said, 'Faith is Yemeni, and wisdom is Yemeni.'
The statement also voiced support for Gaza, Hezbollah, and condemned offenses against the Qur'an by Americans and Israelis. It urged Arab and Islamic peoples to preserve their faith identity, defend the Qur'an through demonstrations, boycott American and Israeli goods, and demand political and economic boycotts of the Zionist entity.
Emphasizing continued mobilization, the statement called for preparation against the 'enemies of the Qur'an and humanity,' urging Yemen's tribes to maintain their influential standpoints.
