Executive Offices in Shibam Kawkaban District Hold Cultural Event to Commemorate Prophet Muhammad’s Birthday

Shibam kawkaban: The branches and offices of the General Authority for Zakat, Electricity, Economy, Industry and Investment, and Antiquities, in cooperation with the Martyr Hassan Nasrallah Complex in Shibam Kawkaban district of Al-Mahwit governorate, held a cultural and speech event to commemorate the Prophet Muhammad's birthday (peace and blessings be upon him and his family).

According to Yemen News Agency, member of the Governorate Scholars Unit, Judge Musa Al-Qadi, emphasized that commemorating the Prophet's birthday reflects the people's love for the Prophet Muhammad, contributes to introducing his noble life, stances, and qualities, and helps connect younger generations with their faith-based and cultural identity. He highlighted the importance of drawing lessons from the life of the Prophet Muhammad and emulating his morals and principles, while promoting the values of honesty, trustworthiness, benevolence, cooperation, and solidarity, and translating them into practical action to strengthen social cohesion and bonds of love and compassion.

Judge Al-Qadi noted that commemorating the Prophet's birthday represents an annual opportunity to enhance religious and moral awareness and renew the connection with the life and righteous path of Prophet Muhammad, as the role model and exemplary figure for the nation. For his part, Director of the district's Zakat Authority branch, Yahya Al-Abadi, affirmed that commemorating the Prophet's birthday is a great religious occasion during which Muslims recall the noble life of Prophet Muhammad and the lofty values and principles of his message, which established the foundations of justice, compassion, and solidarity among members of society.

He explained that the occasion provides an opportunity to raise awareness of the importance of emulating the Prophet in conduct and dealings and promoting the values of compassion, benevolence, cooperation, and community service. He stressed the need to make the occasion a motivation for putting Prophetic values into practice in all areas of life. The speakers highlighted the greatness and esteemed status of the Prophet Muhammad in the hearts of the Yemeni people, noting that commemorating his birthday expresses their love and connection to his life and path and reaffirms their commitment to the values and principles he brought.

They also called for using the occasion to strengthen social solidarity and compassion, promote charitable and benevolent activities, and foster a spirit of responsibility and cooperation among members of society.
