Expanded Meeting Held in Sana’a to Organize Ramadan Aid Distribution

Sana'a: An expanded meeting was held in Sana'a Governorate today, chaired by the First Deputy Governor of the governorate, Hameed 'Asim, to coordinate work among the relevant authorities regarding the implementation of the mechanism for organizing the collection and distribution of aid during the blessed month of Ramadan 1447 AH.

According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting, organized by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor and the Local Authority in Sana'a Governorate, aimed to enhance integration among supporting entities in mobilizing the necessary funds to implement Ramadan humanitarian programs and activities efficiently and with high quality.

The meeting included the participation of several key officials such as the Deputy Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, Mohammed 'Uqbat, the mobilization official in the governorate, Fayiz Al-Hanami, and the directors of Social Affairs and Labor, Majid Al-Ghaili, the Zakat and Endowments authorities, Abdulwahab Al-Tahif and Abdullah 'Amer, Planning, Anwar Sultan, and the directorates. A significant focus was placed on unifying the database of beneficiaries from Ramadan humanitarian interventions for all supporting entities, ensuring the arrangement of interventions provided by all supporting entities to prevent random duplication in delivering Ramadan humanitarian aid.

The meeting emphasized the importance of coordinating efforts among all entities providing support to ensure reaching the largest possible number of the most needy families, and mobilizing society towards enhancing solidarity and cooperation with the deserving community groups. It further stressed the necessity of facilitating and overcoming all difficulties and obstacles faced by actors from governmental entities, international and local donor organizations, and community initiatives.
