Sana'a: The General Mobilization in Al-Tahrir District, Capital Sana'a, organized an expanded meeting to declare general mobilization for the liberation of the country and the breaking of the siege, attended by the Deputy Secretary of the Capital, the Mobilization official, local leaders, sheikhs, and social figures.
According to Yemen News Agency, speakers affirmed that the celebration of the Mawlid al-Nabawi in Yemen has become an annual phenomenon reflecting the faith-based identity and connection to the noble Prophet, noting that the million-strong crowds send a message to the world that Yemen is the fortress of faith and a beacon of guidance. They also praised the impact of the celebrations in strengthening unity and social solidarity, and in instilling Muhammadan values in the youth and younger generations.
The District Director appreciated the efforts of Al-Tahrir's residents in commemorating the occasion and participating in the central event, calling for continued mobilization and enrollment in the "Al-Aqsa Flood" courses, and for reinforcing the fronts with money and men to confront aggression and reclaim rights.
The organization of the popular Mawlid al-Nabawi festival in the district for the fourth consecutive year was also commended as a folk culture embodying Yemenis' love for the Prophet and his household.
