Azal district: An expanded meeting took place in Azal District, Capital Secretariat, involving Deputy Ministers Yahya Al-Siyani of Transport and Public Works, and Adel Bader of Electricity, Energy, and Water, to follow up on the Ramadan program's implementation in the district.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting was attended by notable officials, including Engineer Ahmed Al-Mutawakkil, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Electricity, Energy, and Water, Engineer Abdulrahman Al-Hadhrami, Head of the General Corporation for Roads and Bridges, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Muayyad, Head of the Land Transport Regulatory Authority, and Mohammed Al-Ghalisi, Director of Azal District. Discussions focused on ongoing and planned Ramadan activities supported by the Ministries of Transport and Public Works and Electricity and Water. These initiatives aim to establish charitable kitchens and bakeries to assist impoverished families within the district.
During the meeting, Al-Siyani and Bader highlighted the importance of fostering community solidarity and compassion as directed by leadership. They emphasized utilizing Ramadan to intensify charitable activities, ensuring community concerns are addressed, and enhancing cultural activities in the district's neighborhoods. They stressed the need for active participation in the Ramadan program, particularly in mosques.
The Deputy Ministers also participated in a Ramadan evening event at Prince Al-Sana'ani Mosque, engaging with community leaders and listening to lectures by Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi. At this gathering, participants reaffirmed the significance of reviving the holy month's nights with increased charitable acts and a focus on religious responsibilities towards the less fortunate.
