Sanaa: Officials of the District Affairs Office, in coordination with the local authorities and general mobilization committee in Al Jadida Sanaa district of Sanaa province, held an expanded meeting on Tuesday to mobilize for activities and events marking the Prophet Muhammad's birthday.

According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting was attended by District Director Abdullah Al-Marouni and Mobilization Official Mohammed Al-Tal. Khaled Mousa, Assistant Secretary-General of the Association of Yemeni Scholars, emphasized that commemorating the Prophet's birth represents a spiritual occasion for strengthening religious identity and reaffirming ties with the Prophet and the divine message during a period he described as one of decline and apostasy.

Mousa further highlighted that this year's commemoration takes place as the Yemeni people showcase resilience and pride in their religious identity, countering an intense campaign against Arab and Muslim nations. He urged the community to reject materialism and sectarianism, drawing lessons from the Prophet's life and adhering to the moral values he established, while demonstrating their strong connection to the Prophet Muhammad.

Meanwhile, District Affairs Office Director Ahmed Rajeh underscored the importance of uniting official and popular efforts to ensure the success of the events and encourage broad participation in a manner befitting the status of the Prophet Muhammad. He called on residents of New Sanaa District to actively engage in the various events, seminars, and activities planned across the district's villages and localities, culminating in the central event in the capital, Sanaa.
